Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the questions we get the most. Can't find yours? Call (615) 350-7227.
What information should I have before I get a quote?
Have your vehicle's year, make and model ready, along with any sensors or technology on your windshield. Your VIN gives the most precise result, because one model can have 10 or more different part numbers. In rare cases, we may ask you to text us a photo of your windshield.
What are the different sensors and technologies my windshield might have?
Common ones include a heads-up display (HUD), a lane departure warning system (LDWS) with a camera, a rain sensor and a condensation sensor. Let us know which your vehicle has so we match the right glass. If you are not sure, give us your VIN and we will help.
Why does my VIN matter for a quote?
Your VIN gives the most precise result, because one model can have 10 or more different part numbers. It is on the bottom of the windshield on the driver's side, or on the door-jamb sticker.
Is the glass new or used?
Windshields are always new glass. For door, quarter and back glass we stock both new and used, so many jobs are done the same day.
How long will the job take?
Most standard jobs take 45 minutes to 1 hour. A windshield takes 45 to 60 minutes and door glass takes about 30 minutes. If your vehicle has a lane departure camera and needs ADAS calibration, add 15 to 45 minutes.
Do I have to set an appointment?
No appointment is needed when your part is in stock. We work first-come, first-served. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you on the call, take a deposit before you drive in, and give you an estimated arrival time.
Do you offer mobile service?
Yes. Mobile service is available by appointment across Middle Tennessee: Davidson, Williamson, Wilson, Sumner, Rutherford, Cheatham and Dickson counties. Call us to set it up.
What are your hours and where are you?
We are at 7106 Centennial Blvd, Nashville, TN 37209. Open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm, and Sunday, 9am to 3pm.
Do you work with fleets and dealerships?
Yes. Amazon delivery fleets, Wyatt Johnson Ford, Mercedes-Benz of Nashville, Toyota of Gallatin and Freeland Chevrolet trust us for fast, dependable turnaround, and we keep a large in-house inventory to support them.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
Seal: lifetime warranty against leaks. New glass: 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Door panel parts: 1-year warranty on new regulators and 30-day warranty on used regulators and motors. We do not offer warranties on door glass or on re-seals of existing glass.
Can I use insurance?
Yes, we accept all insurance carriers. Ask your insurer to direct the referral to Low Price Auto Glass, Shop #209421. We bill direct.
Do you repair window regulators and sunroofs?
Yes. Window motor and regulator repair is one of our specialties, and we repair sunroof glass, motors, seals and tracks, including leak remediation.
